We’re back with a new edition of the Mural Fest in Apocapoc, Barcelona!
A new opportunity to participate in collage-type worskhops, learn about many environmental topics and understand how to take action to reduce our environmental footprint on the planet. Climate, biodiversity, textile, digital, desirable future, water, ocean, circular economy, living soils…
And as with all festivals, there will be music, party, and other movement and artistic activities!
3 days to enjoy, learn, connect with the Sustainability ecosystem in Barcelona and beyond.

An event in association with AlterCOP
This year, the Mural Fest will coincide with the COP30 and joins the international initiative AlterCOP. It is a network of alternative events that will occur simultaneously in 10 countries, with the aim to keep corporations and the public informed of COP proceedings and outcomes, facilitate knowledge sharing on corporate sustainability, foster collaboration among various actors and inspire action.
In 2024, AlterCOP 29 in Singapore brought together over 2,300 participants and 250 speakers across 130 sessions. This year, the AlterCOP Global Core Team is partnering with the 3rd edition of the MuralFest , thus extending AlterCOP's vision to Spain to empower local sustainability actions and partnerships.

The event will feature a children's area where kids can have fun under the responsibility of their parents. We're also offering workshops for families and children.

About Climate Fresk
The Climate Fresk is a scientific, collaborative and creative workshop, designed to raise awareness, in a playful way, about climate change.
With rigor and pedagogy, this game allows us to discover in a short time how the climate system works, as well as the causes and consequences of its imbalance.
By participating in the workshop, participants become aware of the complexity of climate change. They are given an overview of this vast problem and are provided with the keys to understanding how to act effectively.
In addition to providing scientific knowledge, the Climate Fresk stimulates the creativity and human skills of the participants.
The Climate Fresk is backed up by an association created in 2018 which helps a community of over 99,000 facilitators who supported more than 2.2 million participants in the whole world.
It is the third consecutive year the association Climate Fresk is helping the Spanish community to organise the Mural Fest.
About the organizers
Behind this event are volunteer environmental and social workshop facilitators. We are passionate about transmitting knowledge on those topics. We are trained and certified for each of the workshops we offer. Our community organise workshops in all of Spain and online to bring understanding on environmental and social challenges to the most people possible, having fun and empowering them to take action to create a more just and sustainable world.
